The group made their way into the depths of the Elf Forest and stopped beneath an unremarkable tree.
Peilinna took out a branch and tapped the trunk a few times. A person-sized Vortex Passage actually opened in the middle of the tree.
"Lord Dustseal, this is the entrance to our Elf World. Please follow me."
Peilinna beckoned to Wu Shaozhen and the others, then stepped into the passage first.
The other elven elders followed her inside.
Wu Shaozhen and the others stared at the magical passage in amazement.
"This place is really well hidden. No wonder the Otherworldly Demons never found it after all this time," Guardian remarked.
"Yeah. Otherwise, with how strong the Otherworldly Demons here are, these elves would have been wiped out long ago!"
"Let's go take a look inside."
The group entered the passage as well.
After they entered, the passage slowly vanished. The trunk returned to its original appearance, leaving no trace.
"Is this... paradise?"
Dreamlight Dance murmured as she gazed at the scenery around her.
The others reacted much the same way, all captivated by the sight before them.
This place was truly beautiful. Green grass and flowers of every kind carpeted the entire space, while trees stood at regular intervals all around. Each tree held a wooden house, looking both mysterious and cozy amid the leaves.
Every so often, they spotted young elves dancing among the flowers, a picture of harmony and beauty...
It felt like a world inside a painting, rather than somewhere that could actually exist.
