Ch. 452Counterattack

Wu Shaozhen and the Chinese players turned the battle for Giant Deer City into a sweeping counterattack, forcing the Alliance to retreat and wiping out its rear guard. After China secured a decisive victory, Wu Shaozhen told the celebrating players to rest before he led them to attack other servers.

  • Young Master Huang and more than ninety million returning Chinese players tore into the Alliance formation, allowing the city defenders to join the counterattack and drive the enemy back.
  • Karen and the Alliance leaders decided to retreat once cross-server teleportation came off cooldown, but learned they first had to escape combat.

  • China's losses totaled 240 million players, while the Alliance lost 760 million, and Wu Shaozhen's honor points rose to nearly thirty million.
  • Wu Shaozhen ordered the Chinese players to rest and promised to take them to attack other servers in three hours, prompting them to chant in celebration.

  • Wu Shaozhen and Old Teng attacked the defenders as Guardian, Young Master Huang, and the other Chinese players broke through their formation.
  • Karen joined the battle with priests healing him, but a Tempest killed him before he could activate his invincibility.
  • After two hours of fighting, the Chinese players forced the defenders into P City, then killed those who fled or hid and captured the city.
  • Wu Shaozhen sent players to seize the M Server's other main cities, and China occupied all Five Main Cities.

Ch. 455A Dozen Players Siege a City

After China captured Japan’s three Main Cities, Wu Shaozhen sent his forces to seize more cities while taking a small elite group to the YD server to farm Honor Points. Divine King joined Wu Shaozhen, and the chapter ended as their dozen-person party fought the vastly larger YD force.

  • Divine King charged into battle alongside Young Master Huang and the rest of the party.

Ch. 456Godslayer

Wu Shaozhen’s assault on the YD server continued as he and his companions slaughtered millions of players, and he earned the ultimate title Godslayer after reaching the honor-point cap. He joined Young Master Huang’s group to help them keep farming, while the YD players took heart when he and his beasts stopped attacking.

  • China captured five more main cities, bringing its National War total to fifteen additional cities and twenty-three overall, then halted its expansion because it lacked enough players to defend more territory.
  • On the YD server, Singh ordered his players to spread out after Dustseal, the Soaring Serpent, and the Chinese group devastated their forces.

  • Lie Feng fought off Wu Shaozhen and his three clones, then battled Wu Shaozhen as their health and abilities gradually shifted the advantage to Wu Shaozhen.
  • As Lie Feng’s Thunderclap Form and Spacetime Domain neared expiration, Wu Shaozhen used Evil Mark: Detonate and Execution to defeat him despite Lie Feng having 35% health remaining.
  • Lie Feng reappeared and asked Wu Shaozhen whether adventurers would protect the Holy Light Continent, and Wu Shaozhen promised that he personally would fight for it.
  • Lie Feng gave Wu Shaozhen a map to an opportunity to advance to Transcendent God Tier, then sent him out of the Mystic Realm.
  • After Wu Shaozhen vanished, Lie Feng wondered whether adventurers could be relied on to face the disaster awaiting the Holy Light Continent.

Ch. 459God-tier

Wu Shaozhen reached God-tier and visited Jinling City's City Lord to learn about the first-tier main cities. He learned that they lay on the true Holy Light Continent, where adventurers would lose their protection and face a dangerous return journey.

  • The City Lord revealed that the first-tier main cities had many Immortal-tier, Saint-tier, and God-tier powerhouses, as well as ten Transcendent God-tier beings.

Ch. 460Collecting Source Crystal Shards

Wu Shaozhen learned that the Supreme God might have sacrificed his life to create the world and that his nine source crystal shards had all appeared, with the last likely held by another player. He offered a Sacred Artifact for the shard through global announcements, but Karen recognized it and chose to withhold it from him.

  • Wu Shaozhen and Zi You discussed the danger of First-Tier Main Cities, the disaster threatening connected worlds, and Zi You's suspicion that the Supreme God had created the world with his life.
  • Zi You told Wu Shaozhen to combine his source crystal shards in a Second-Tier Main City and explained that the missing tenth shard was already in another player's possession.
  • Wu Shaozhen spent 10,000 gold coins to announce globally that he would trade a Sacred Artifact for a Broken Source Crystal Shard.
  • Karen recognized the shard in Wu Shaozhen's announcement, but his hatred of Dustseal led him to keep it instead of accepting the offer.
  • Maka witnessed Karen putting the shard away and showed a glint of interest.

Ch. 461The shard secured

Wu Shaozhen tracked down Karen to obtain the Source Crystal Shard and used repeated killings to force him to drop it. He secured the shard and teleported away, leaving Karen and LGR’s senior members shaken.

  • Wu Shaozhen negotiated with Maka, who agreed to reveal the shard’s holder in exchange for two Immortal Artifacts.
  • Maka’s information led Wu Shaozhen to Karen and LGR’s senior members, who were leveling in a valley outside P City.
  • Wu Shaozhen demanded the shard, but Karen denied having it, so Wu Shaozhen trapped the group in Spacetime Domain and began killing Karen.
  • Karen’s invincibility failed to protect him from Wu Shaozhen’s poison, and after repeated on-the-spot revivals, he offered to trade.
  • Wu Shaozhen kept killing Karen until Karen threw out the Source Crystal Shard, which Wu Shaozhen collected before teleporting away.

Ch. 462Source Crystal

Wu Shaozhen fused his source crystal shards and learned from Zi You that the resulting crystal held a Supreme God's essence power, then prepared to leave for the dangerous first-tier main city. As he spent time with his companions and Yu Fei, a horde of blood slaves from the Crimson Continent emerged from a Pacific rift and triggered emergency meetings around the world.

  • Wu Shaozhen fused his source crystal shards, and Zi You explained that the crystal could aid him when he advanced to transcendent god tier but could not be used by her.
  • Wu Shaozhen told his companions he was heading to the first-tier main city, warned them that those who died there could not revive, and reassured them that they were needed to defend it.
  • Wu Shaozhen hauled Nan Feng to the Back Mountain for a mock lesson, then returned with him bruised before the group shared a barbecue.
  • Yu Fei asked Wu Shaozhen to stay with her instead of logging in, and he agreed.
  • A huge rift above the Pacific released countless blood slaves from the Crimson Continent, and countries called emergency meetings after satellites detected them moving toward land.

Ch. 463Invasion of the Blood Slaves

Wu Shaozhen learned that millions of Blood Slaves from the Crimson Continent were advancing on Earth, and nuclear weapons could not stop them. He proposed breaking the dimensional wall to give every player their in-game abilities, but warned that players could die for real and game monsters would pour into reality.

  • Wu Shaozhen and Yu Fei woke after spending the night together as officials in China discussed the approaching Blood Slaves.
  • Dozens of nuclear bombs struck the Blood Slaves in the Pacific, but the creatures survived and rapidly healed before diving underwater.
  • Dreamlight Dance showed Wu Shaozhen images of the monsters, and Zi You identified them as Blood Slaves from the Crimson Continent, which had at least ten God-tier powerhouses.
  • Zi You explained that the spatial node connecting the Crimson Continent to Earth had likely been broken open, leaving Wu Shaozhen and the others facing an overwhelming invasion.
  • Wu Shaozhen proposed breaking the dimensional wall so all players could gain their in-game abilities, but warned that they could die permanently and monsters from the game would enter reality.

Ch. 464Breaking the Dimensional Wall

Wu Shaozhen opened a rift between the Game World and reality so Chinese players could bring their in-game abilities into the real world to face the Blood Slave invasion. As players crossed over and awakened as ability users, the rift continued expanding toward a full merger of the worlds.

  • Wu Shaozhen and his companions decided to break the dimensional wall at the spatial node on the YD server, and he arranged to get Chinese players through before alerting other countries.
  • Wu Shaozhen announced that players could leave the game through a rift and retain their in-game strength, but warned they would lose the ability to revive; he directed them to Harappa.
  • Wu Shaozhen used the Void-Piercing Thorn to open and enlarge the rift as Chinese players arrived and began crossing into reality.
  • Players who crossed the rift awoke in their Gaming Helmets or Gaming Pods with their in-game abilities, and some tested their new strength.
  • As more Chinese players passed through, the rift grew to over a thousand meters long and expanded on its own, while players from other countries watched from a distance.

Ch. 465They're here!

Wu Shaozhen and players around the world merged their game abilities with their physical bodies as Blood Slaves began invading the real world. After the monsters overwhelmed Australia and attacked several Pacific countries, Chinese Ability Users assembled on the coast of ZJ Province, where the first Blood Slaves began to emerge.

  • Wu Shaozhen entered the spatial rift, then discovered he could use his inventory, equipment, and status in reality after merging with his body.
  • Wu Shaozhen ordered the group to head to the coast and asked Meng Wu to have local authorities summon Ability Users, who responded when Dustseal's name was invoked.
  • Players around the world entered the rifts, while some people refused to risk losing their chance to revive if they died.
  • Blood Slaves landed in Australia and overwhelmed its Ability Users, then attacked M Country, Canada, Mexico, and other Pacific countries.
  • Wu Shaozhen and countless Chinese Ability Users gathered on the ZJ Province coast as Blood Slaves surfaced in the sea.

Ch. 466The battle to defend China

Wu Shaozhen and players across China fought to hold the coastline against waves of Blood Slaves. The defenders stabilized their battle lines, but Wu Shaozhen feared the enemy’s stronger fighters would soon turn the tide.

  • Wu Shaozhen charged into the Blood Slaves with Thunderflash and Shadow Annihilation, killing them far more easily than the assembled players could.
  • Guild leaders organized players into shield, melee, ranged, and healing roles as the Blood Slaves reached the shoreline and inflicted heavy casualties.
  • Wu Shaozhen split into four figures and held back a dense mass of Blood Slaves at the front of his position.

  • Players across China stabilized their battle lines, but Wu Shaozhen knew the enemy’s strongest fighters had yet to act.

Ch. 467The true disaster

The Blood Slave invasion devastated countries around the Pacific, while China held its coast under Wu Shaozhen’s leadership. After more than three hours of fighting, fewer Blood Slaves began emerging from the sea, giving the exhausted defenders hope that the assault might end.

  • Blood Slaves overran the defenses of several countries, while China’s Ability Users, supported by Wu Shaozhen, held the coast with comparatively few casualties.
  • Lin Zhanpeng warned that Dustseal’s refusal to summon Old Teng might mean he feared a greater threat, and he ordered battlefield footage broadcast to encourage more players to emerge through the rifts.
  • Players in China and other countries began logging into the game and joining the battles after witnessing the devastation and casualties.
  • A horned man emerged from a cave in the Hell Abyss, discovered that the passage led to the Holy Light Continent, and returned to report the news to the Demon Lord.
  • Wu Shaozhen kept Old Teng in the Pet Space because its attacks might draw out ten God-tier enemies, while he continued fighting at the coast.
  • After hours of battle, only M Country and Russia still held out among the other Pacific nations, and China’s defenders noticed that fewer Blood Slaves were coming from the sea.

Ch. 468How Were They Supposed to Hold the Line!?

After China’s Ability Users wiped out the invading Blood Slaves, Wu Shaozhen warned that the victory was temporary when a vastly stronger Crimson Continent force approached the coast. He prepared to face two hundred Saint-tier Blood Demons while Dreaming of the Three Kingdoms was left to confront hundreds of thousands of Blood Attendants, all at least Diamond-tier.

  • Xue Li ordered a Blood Demon to lead two hundred Blood Demons and five hundred thousand Blood Attendants to conquer the continent before the other Blood Ancestors returned.

  • Wu Shaozhen used his poison and superior endurance to suppress Xue Li, who eventually fled toward the Void Rift using Blood Escape.
  • Wu Shaozhen tracked Xue Li with the Dawn Ring's Mark of Light and intercepted him before he could return to the other Blood Ancestors.
  • Wu Shaozhen detonated the Evil Mark, pierced Xue Li with Instant Kill, and finished him with Execution.

  • Wu Shaozhen flew back toward the battle instead of entering the Void Rift, while nine Blood Ancestors learned that the sixth had fallen and rushed toward the blood-red Grand Hall.

Ch. 472They all came!

Wu Shaozhen returned to the battlefield and joined Old Teng in slaughtering the Blood Demons, but nine more God-tier Blood Ancestors arrived. Zi You appeared to help, and the three prepared to face the overwhelming force together.

  • Wu Shaozhen and Old Teng attacked the Blood Demons, turning the Saint-tier battle into a slaughter and driving the survivors to flee.
  • Nine God-tier Blood Ancestors arrived, forcing Wu Shaozhen and Old Teng to stop their pursuit.
  • Zi You appeared and said she could handle five of the nine Blood Ancestors while Wu Shaozhen and Old Teng dealt with the rest.
  • Wu Shaozhen poisoned the Blood Ancestors and assigned Zi You to draw five into her Darkness Domain, Old Teng to hold off two, and himself to fight the final two.

Ch. 473Disaster Escalation

Wu Shaozhen poisoned the nine Blood Ancestors and fought two of them while Zi You and Old Teng held off the others. As the God-tier battles disappeared into darkness and blood, six returning Saint-tier Blood Demons flew toward land, threatening everyone there.

  • Wu Shaozhen poisoned all nine Blood Ancestors with Shadow Annihilation, prompting them to attack him as Zi You trapped five in Darkness Domain.
  • Old Teng intercepted two Blood Ancestors, but they trapped him in a blood-red world; he fought back with Sea of Thunder and pleaded for Dust Boy to hurry.
