First came the increase in base stats. From immortal tier to old-day tier, the back attack damage bonus provided by Back Attack Enhancement soared from 1,280% to 2,520%!
This raised Qin Feng's overall back attack damage bonus from 49 times to 61 times.
Most importantly, the skill's new old-day tier special effect made Qin Feng call it downright absurd.
--
[...] [Old-day tier new special effect: when performing a back attack, your 'fixed defense ignore' stat doubles! This special effect can trigger at most once within a fixed 12-second period.]
--
It wasn't some numerical bonus, but outright doubling!
After all, Qin Feng's fixed defense ignore had already surpassed that of every player at his stage, and even every player still in the Blueprint World, reaching 163.8%!
Even without Osilio beside him providing an aura, it was still as high as 138.8%.
And now...
That number doubled outright!
It meant the benefit Qin Feng received from every source of fixed defense ignore had doubled!
Back when he evolved Coup de Grace to old-day tier, the 50% fixed defense ignore he gained had already been an exceptionally powerful buff.
By comparison, this was even more absurd...
Once Qin Feng stacked 500% or even 1,000% fixed defense ignore in the future, this special effect would become increasingly valuable!
Of course.
Backstab Amplification's special effect that doubled fixed defense ignore could only trigger once every 12 seconds.
In other words, it would take effect on the first attack, then could not take effect again for the next 12 seconds.
Even against enemies across a wide area, it would only affect the first enemy damaged. If damage was dealt simultaneously, it would still only affect one of those enemies...
Viewed that way, Backstab Amplification's old-day tier special effect didn't seem quite so
