Free and Unrestrained Mountain profited, but the Heavenly Court certainly didn't lose out

The countdown ended, and the Heavenly Court's Faction Conquest Battle against Free and Unrestrained Mountain officially began.

Yet after entering the Faction War Space, Ye Fei and the others had barely moved toward the center before they saw the Heavenly Emperor approaching with a food carrier, accompanied by a thoroughly aggrieved Thunder God.

Only after being dragged in here had the Thunder God learned what this so-called Conquest Battle was actually for.

The Heavenly Emperor found those fellows trying to steal his property a nuisance, so he had conveniently handed them over to Free and Unrestrained Mountain as a favor!

"Wind God, Water God, Life God, and my young friend Ye Fei, I brought some food. Let them go play while we enjoy some Divine Fruit and Divine Beasts from my Heavenly Court..."

The Heavenly Emperor greeted them, then made himself right at home, setting out tables and chairs and arranging food and drinks with a wave of his hand.

"Heavenly Emperor, did you come here just to treat us to a meal?"

Watching his behavior, the Queen picked up a Divine Fruit and ate it as she asked what exactly he had come for.

There weren't many restrictions on a Conquest Battle. Anyone within the territory would be dragged in, so they had specifically had the Thunder God teleport back to the Heavenly Court before the battle began.

Now the Thunder God was glaring so hard that he looked ready to strike the Heavenly Emperor with a crackling bolt of lightning.

"I didn't have a choice. If I went straight to your Free and Unrestrained Mountain, I'd be discovered. Besides, Life God, go take a look. Those players over there are snacks for you. Remember to kill the players first and leave my Heavenly Soldiers and Generals until last.
