Ye Fei learned that powerful players in the Underground Region had drawn his likeness and might be trying to attack him from afar. Their attack triggered the Wind God's debt effect, sending Feng An to the Underground Region, where earthquakes and cave-ins began as Xu Ming tried to escape.
Xu Ming escaped the Underground Region and asked Ye Fei whether Feng An ate a lot, while Ye Fei and the others discussed rumors about the Wind God’s enormous snake form. The chapter ended with Lu Heng asking Ye Fei to describe what Feng An’s true body looked like.
Feng An used Divine Wrath to counterattack the God-level Players who ambushed him, devastating the Underground World, while the others discussed his true form and who had profited from the conflict. The Queen and Ye Fei suspected Light and Dark were benefiting from the chaos, though Lingbo accused them of being master schemers.
After the Flower Fairies woke, Ye Fei let them explore beyond Mountain Peak, where they soon clashed with Old Yellow Ox and Fan. Huahua said the ox had nearly eaten her, while Old Yellow Ox accused the fairies of injuring him, and Ye Fei asked both sides to explain what happened.
Old Yellow Ox refused to return the flower essence he had eaten, provoking the Flower Fairies and Ye Fei. Fan extracted the lilac plant from the ox, and the Flower Fairies left to continue their work while the Queen and Wood Demon Pavilion were left to decide his fate.
The Queen brought Blue Feather to take Old Yellow Ox away, and the Wood Demon Pavilion sealed him as punishment. As the eighth month's Disaster Phase approached, Ye Fei prepared to leave with his companions, while Huahua visited and played with the Phantom Spirits.
During the eighth month's disaster, players chose whether to enter the Survival World and returned to their original starting regions. Ye Fei learned the gods had staged Old Yellow Ox's earlier antics, while Old Yellow Ox left the Wood Demon Pavilion and fled toward his original neighbor.
Ye Fei and Feng An discussed the Queen’s household and the trouble awaiting Blue Feather and Elf God Fan, while Feng An teased Ye Fei by coiling around his neck. Lin Xian arrived, and they discussed Long Heng’s captivity on the Deserted Island, where Ye Fei realized Water God Whip Baby was also present.
Long Heng’s Divine Dragon egg was protected by the Water God Whip, which killed the newly appeared Ice God on the Water God’s orders. Feng An explained to Ye Fei that the stage was about choice, and a Winged Race player arrived at Free and Unrestrained Mountain looking for nearby players.
Ye Fei and Lin Xian encountered the Goose God, who demanded to know where the Wind God was. When the Goose God attacked Ye Fei, Feng An swallowed it in one bite, and Lin Xian learned that the Wind God’s true body was far larger than the snake he saw.
Feng An’s complaint in the gods’ channel drew attention to his supposed confinement, and two human God-level Players arrived at Free and Unrestrained Mountain to guard it. Ye Fei sent Lin Xian inside for safety and remained outside as one newcomer tried to learn more about him.
Ye Fei used spirit tea to place two Human Race Players under Lingyan’s cross-map Illusion Magic, while he and Feng An considered whether the Earth God was behind them. The chapter left the Earth God’s motives and the absence of a Human God unanswered.
Ye Fei and Feng An discussed the Human Race’s prospects and the future of the world as players gathered near their mountaintop. Ye Fei declared that he judged others by whether they were allies or enemies, leaving the two to watch the darkening sky.
Ye Fei prepared a fake Spirit Sword to provoke the gathered players into attacking him, while Feng An planned to protect him and devour the attackers. The sword drew the players’ attention, and they launched a coordinated assault as it charged toward them.
Ye Fei used Feng An’s damage-reflecting flying sword to wipe out 11,901 players gathered near Free and Unrestrained Mountain, earning unprecedented rewards for killing attackers. After Feng An worried the rules might be targeting him, Ye Fei asked Lingyan why players of vastly different strengths were not separated.
Long Heng was snatched by a Dragon Race elder, while Feng An used the incident and his staged silence to make other gods believe he was trapped. Ye Fei realized another powerful god had arrived and worried about how to deal with the visitor without exposing their act.
Ye Fei borrowed the Thunder God Spear to defeat a False God bearing the title "Thunder-Wielding God," then used the roasted corpse as food. After learning how divine artifacts could be loaned, he asked about Feng An’s past artifact and continued feeding the injured snake.
Ye Fei faced a rain god who wielded a Rain-Summoning Banner, while Feng An explained how lesser gods relied on divine artifacts to perform their offices. Ye Fei summoned thunder tribulation lightning to defeat the god and planned to take the banner as material for future artifact refining.
Ye Fei’s Lightning Domain allowed Feng An to devour the Rain God’s incarnation and remaining Divine Soul, leaving behind the Rain-Summoning Banner. As the gods searched for the missing Wind God and debated whether he was truly in danger, Lingyan warned that their assumptions could reveal information to his pursuers, but no one answered the worried messages.
Ye Fei continued cultivating inside his Lightning Domain while he and Feng An discussed Yang Cheng’s role as an unwitting source of information. As the Disaster Phase reached its final day, the wildlife around the mountain peak began making noise just after midnight.
Ye Fei prepared his courtyard for an incoming horde while Lin Mu arrived carrying an injured Lin Che. As the birds gathered around the group, Ye Fei relied on two mysterious helpers to face the approaching creatures.
Ye Fei and the others watched two Human Race experts defeat the Beast Taming player’s invading beasts, then processed the bodies into ingredients and materials. They identified the dead god as the Tiger-Hunting God, and Ye Fei considered saving his materials for a Divine Artifact instead of making a set of Immortal Artifacts.
Ye Fei refused to hand over the Wind God's true body when the Four Symbols God arrived to seize it. Huahua appeared as a Flower God to help protect him, leaving Ye Fei facing the Four Symbols God with her at his side.
As the disaster phase neared its end, Ye Fei refused the Four Symbols God's demand to hand over the Wind God's true body, even when warned that the gods would attack Free and Unrestrained Mountain. The chapter ended with Ye Fei firing lightning through the weakened seal as the countdown reached its final moment.
After returning home, Ye Fei learned that cross-regional faction battles had begun and discovered that the Wind God was trapped in a weakened snake form. With the Heavenly Court launching a forced assault, Ye Fei and Lingbo arranged arena matches and prepared to defend their faction.
