The three long and two short incense sticks burned steadily, wisps of smoke spreading through the air. Though the hall was open to the wind on three sides, they felt an indescribable stuffiness.
Their breathing grew heavier, and a sense of oppression welled up involuntarily within them.
It seemed that if the incense kept burning, something terrible would happen!
