Either choice would be a terrible ordeal for mother and son. If they stayed in the Human World, the Quincy would surely come after them. A defenseless woman with a child had next to no chance of surviving.
If they returned to Soul Society, the families of the Soul Reapers Kuro no Suke had killed would not leave them alone either.
Some might believe Kuro no Suke had paid enough for his sins with his life.
But there were always people who refused to let things go.
No one could protect the mother and son around the clock.

It descended from the two sons of the Ishida Family who had gone their separate ways years ago.
