Just then, a black Hell Butterfly appeared before him. His teacher's voice came from it.
"Aizen, come to my office at once if you're there. I have a new assignment for you." Yamabuki Chidori sounded unusually grave. Aizen hurried to his teacher's office without delay.

"Aizen, we meet again already!" Shinji Hirako said with a grin.

Besides the two of them, a somewhat reckless-looking young man stood in the room. It was Kensei Muguruma, whom Yamabuki Chidori had brought back ten years ago.
A pretty young girl also stood behind Yamabuki Chidori: Lisa Yadōmaru of the 8th Division.
Aizen couldn't work out why this group had been assembled, but his teacher must have his reasons.

"We're not blind. Of course we see them. Get to the point already!" Shinji Hirako looked impatient.
"The situation is dangerous. For reasons we don't know, Hollows have suddenly appeared all over Soul Society. Nearly every combatant has been deployed, and you're going to the front lines too," Yamabuki Chidori said gravely.
