Only Aizen and Chizome Souya remained in the room.
"The Soul Reaper Hollowfication Experiment—quite a few people besides you are studying this," Aizen said mildly. "Centuries ago, the Tsunayashiro Clan researched this as well, but unfortunately, they were completely wiped out in the end because of it."
Chizome Souya didn't speak, just quietly listening to Aizen act all superior.
"As it happens, a portion of their experimental data fell into my hands. If you're willing, we can study it together." Aizen looked at Chizome Souya with a smile.
Chizome Souya stared at Aizen warily. "Let me make a phone call first. If it really was Teacher who asked you to help me, naturally I won't refuse."
Even though Chizome Souya didn't trust Aizen, he trusted Yamabuki Chidori absolutely.
Soon, Chizome Souya received confirmation that it was indeed Yamabuki Chidori who had sent Aizen over.
"Alright, I don't have much time to stay here. Let me see just how far your research has progressed!" Aizen said.
Chizome Souya led Aizen down to the basement, where several dozen Modified Weapons were kept. These individuals had once been scions of noble families, but Chizome Souya had now transformed them into emotionless killing machines.
"I see, quite crude toys!" Aizen laughed. "These can't even be counted as Soul Reaper Hollowfication, because these subjects aren't even true Soul Reapers to begin with. As long as you master a subtle balance, you can grant these Modified Weapons Hollow Power."
Aizen controlled his Reiatsu, carefully picking up a Hollow Particle and fusing it into the body of a Modified Weapon.
The thing that shocked
