At Yoruichi's words, Rangiku Matsumoto immediately behaved herself.
Yoruichi was delighted to hold Rangiku's soft body. Were this girl's genes really that good? She was only about ten, wasn't she? How had she developed so much? Plenty of adult female Soul Reapers couldn't compare.
With that thought, Yoruichi held Rangiku even tighter.
They made their way back to the 2nd Division.
"Keep an eye on these two. I'll be right back." After settling Gin Ichimaru and Rangiku Matsumoto in, Yoruichi immediately went to find Yamabuki Chidori.
"Old Man, how are you going to thank me? I brought back the two people you wanted!" Yoruichi said smugly, but Yamabuki Chidori promptly covered her mouth.
"Keep your voice down! You're with the Onmitsukidō. Haven't you ever heard that walls have ears?" Yamabuki Chidori grumbled.
Did she want everyone to know she'd abducted two children?
"Fine. Now can you tell me what secret these two kids are hiding that made you personally order their capture?" Yoruichi asked quietly.
Yamabuki Chidori's expression turned grave. He checked that no one was nearby, shut the doors and windows, then beckoned Yoruichi closer.
Yoruichi leaned in, curiosity written all over her face.
Yamabuki Chidori whispered, "I'm not telling you!"
"Get lost!" Yoruichi bristled. If he couldn't tell me, why make such a show of it? Was he teasing a cat?
"These children are hiding a tremendous secret. Trust me," Yamabuki Chidori said gravely.
"Like hell I will!" Yoruichi snapped.
Keep Bluffing
Gin Ichimaru and Rangiku Matsumoto were taken to Yoruichi's office. Neither had expected getting into Seireitei to be so easy.
While Gin remained wary, Rangiku was mostly curious.
"So this is Seireitei. It's a whole different world from the Rukongai we lived in!" Rangiku gazed outside in wonder.
Gin, meanwhile, was thinking about how to escape.
