The office door suddenly flew open. Kuchiki Byakuya hurried over to Rukia, looking tense. He took her face in his hands and examined her from every angle.
Rukia fought back her temper. What is wrong with you people? Why does everyone grab my face the moment they see me? What if you squeeze it so much I start drooling?
"Well?" Yamabuki Chidori asked.
Byakuya nodded nervously. "I think it's her."

Everyone else looked perfectly calm, and Yamabuki Chidori suddenly realized he might be the only one whose mind had gone there. Should I go stand outside as punishment?

Her face was even paler than before, though.
She was certain now: these people were selling her blood for a huge profit.
Why else would they draw so much of it right after meeting her?
I can't cry. That would make me look weak.
Byakuya took the blood sample straight to the 12th Division.
