"Ichigo, there are many things in this world that cannot be accomplished through passion alone. Power is everything." Yamabuki Chidori applied a little force with his fingers, and Tensa Zangetsu snapped in two.
Kurosaki Ichigo stood there dumbfounded, blankly clutching Tensa Zangetsu's hilt, unsure what to do.
"Rukia! Come here!" Yamabuki Chidori waved at Rukia in the distance.
Kurosaki Ichigo's pupils shook as he shouted, "Rukia, don't come over!"
Rukia looked at Kurosaki Ichigo curiously. "Ichigo, what's wrong? Don't tell me you have a fever?"
As she spoke, she thoughtfully placed a hand against Kurosaki Ichigo's forehead. Yamabuki Chidori stood behind Rukia, extending his dark hand toward the innocent girl.
"Rukia, shall we go see Byakuya? His condition is worse than Ichigo's." Yamabuki Chidori patted Rukia on the head and smiled.
"Hm? Sure. Let's go right now." Rukia said happily.
Kurosaki Ichigo froze for a long while before realizing he had been played.
Right. How could that bastard Yamabuki Chidori possibly hurt Rukia?
Thinking that, Kurosaki Ichigo could not help throwing a punch, only for Yamabuki Chidori to casually block it with one hand.
"You should be glad I'm not your enemy. Otherwise, you'd regret it for the rest of your life." Yamabuki Chidori smiled. "Also, let me tell you something awful: if a Zanpakuto breaks while in Bankai, it cannot be restored."
Kurosaki Ichigo went numb. You broke my sword, then told me a Zanpakuto broken in Bankai could not be restored. Was something wrong with you?
"But how am I supposed to fight if my sword is broken?" Kurosaki Ichigo asked.
"If the sword is broken... just forge another one, right?" Yamabuki Chidori turned back with a smile. "Don't worry. It's not difficult."
With that, he left with Rukia, leaving Kurosaki Ichigo standing there alone in utter confusion.
