• Lin Yue and Shi Hao assigned the Plateau’s Ancestors to themselves and sent their allies to fight the other Immortal Emperors, then both sides launched the battle.
• Willow Deity, Luo Tianxian, Ruthless, Wu Shi, Thunder Emperor, Son of Heaven, Butcher, Burial Master, and the other Immortal Emperors fought across the Plateau’s outskirts, where The Heavens and the Myriad Heavens gained the advantage.

They returned to their allies after the darkness was purged, while the following side story showed people in The Heavens anxiously awaiting news of their victory.

• The Plateau awakened and merged the Ten Ancestors into a single force, but Lin Yue, Shi Hao, Ye Fan, and the Pollen Female Emperor broke their restraints and attacked it.
• The four confronted the Plateau's will, which tried to restart the cycle and gather the worlds to resurrect the transcendent being buried beneath the Plateau.
