As the Great Cleansing approached, Nine Heavens cultivators traveled to the Immortal Domain for an exchange that exposed divisions over alliance and saw Jin and Lin Ni defeat its challengers.

The Emperors crossed into the Darkness Ancient Land, where their battle against the dark Emperors drew in forces from across time and ended with Lin Yue confronting the World-Destroying Elder.

• Heavenly Emperor Meng led the Nine Heavens into war, and Shi Hao killed the Red King, Lan Shu, and Kundi as the allied armies conquered the Foreign Realm.
• The Wusheng Heavenly Emperor crushed the Ancestral Artifact’s shadow, restored the fallen kings, and ordered the purge of the Foreign Realm before the survivors joined the Nine Heavens under oath.
• Shi Hao and the allied kings welcomed Boundary Sea kings, destroyed Reception Ancient Halls, and fought fallen beings as the darkness began its assault on the realms.
• Willow Deity entered the Emperor Realm and restored worlds and captured kings, while Shi Hao completed his seventh secret realm and became a Quasi-Immortal Emperor.
