Hive was too close to the Gravitonium. The cyborg soldier had practically stuffed that blob of Liquid Metal into his insect cloud. The change that followed came even faster, and Hive turned into a ball of insects that was half yellow and half silver.

Humans could not touch Gravitonium with their bare hands. Otherwise, it would invade the body and trigger a chain reaction, with symptoms similar to heavy metal poisoning.

But aside from his head, the other side's cyborg soldiers had been entirely replaced by machinery. Their mechanical arms conveniently avoided that problem.

If anyone else ingested Gravitonium, they would basically go mad immediately. Su Ming would not even need to think much to deal with them. But Hive was different. As an aggregate of insect swarms, even if some of his insects ingested Gravitonium, he still retained his sanity and control over his body.

His insect cloud rolled once, and the yellow and silver seemed to blend together, slowly reshaping themselves into the image of Octopus-head. Not only that, he rose into the air with his hands clasped behind his back, floating through the use of his newly acquired anti-gravity power.
