Having finished discussing Ragnarök, Odin and Deathstroke both fell silent. Earth might escape Ragnarök, but the creatures living on it might not.
It was a problem they had always faced, and time was growing ever more urgent.
"Yesterday, I went to see Gorr the God Butcher and dealt with his problem." Su Ming changed the subject. "Because I wanted to look up some information, I went to Omnipotence City and met an Old Demon Spirit with dragonfly wings."
"The caretaker of the Knowledge Sanctum, perhaps?" Odin corrected his choice of words. "He is a god, after all. Even if you did not ask his name, do not just give him a nickname."
"What does it matter to me whether he has a name? The fact is, I saved his life. Even if I called him Sweetie, he would have to agree with a smile."
Su Ming waved dismissively. He truly had not asked the other man's name. Omnipotence City was hardly a pleasant place. The gods living there spent every day drowning in drink and pleasure, and it was boring as hell.
It was the sort of place with clean streets and smiling people, yet once you had been there, you never wanted to go a second time.
Besides, it had been destroyed yesterday. Rebuilding it would likely take centuries, and clearing out the Symbiotes lurking behind afterward would probably take another few centuries.
"You have a point. Please continue." Odin let the matter go and signaled for Deathstroke to continue.
Su Ming pulled out a cigarette, lowered his head to light it between his lips, and gazed at the snowcapped mountains in the distance as he slowly exhaled smoke. "I happened to fiddle with his Book of Omnipotence and accidentally saw a record about The Serpent. I think Thor
