After that baffling episode, Deadpool felt that Thanos was in a much better mood than expected.
So he climbed up from the ground, casually walked over to Thanos, and hooked an arm around one of his.

"Who's your brother? How dare a mere mortal place himself on equal footing with me!" Thanos showed no appreciation and was in no mood to be reasonable. He directly twisted Deadpool's head off with the Infinity Gauntlet, tossed it into the air, and volleyed it away with a kick.
He just used too much force and pulled out part of Wade's esophagus and spine along with it.
After landing, Deadpool's head used them as two legs and ran back from afar.
"I was just trying to show some friendliness." Deadpool's head scuttled sideways like a crab. With his esophagus and spine sticking out front and back, he couldn't move forward normally. "We've both slept with the same woman. By Earth customs, that makes us brothers."
Deadpool looked utterly serious. He was not entirely talking nonsense either. If one went back tens of thousands of years to primitive matriarchal societies, that was indeed how things worked.
"Die!"
Thanos struck directly. The Cosmic Energy on his gauntlet instantly burned Wade into a pile of white ash.
How could he tolerate this vulgar insect talking about his Goddess?
Deadpool was too shameless, too vile! He made it sound as though his Goddess were some sort of lustful woman. It was utter nonsense!
And that pathetic place called Earth—how could it have such absurd customs?! He really needed to find a way to destroy that garbage planet in the universe!
Yet perhaps because this was Death's Garden and Wade's corpse run was the shortest here, a perfectly intact Deadpool appeared beside Thanos almost the very next second.
