Background

Wade grew up under the surname Wilson after associating it with the happiness and family shown in a fast-food commercial. He endured poverty and abuse in an orphanage, fled at age twelve, boarded a smuggling ship, and was sent to Africa as a child soldier. There, he befriended and saved Happy Hogan; Wade later promised that he would not kill innocent people. 1742 1748
