After a busy day of arrangements, Fury returned to Triskelion Headquarters that night. He summoned Coulson, who had returned from Iraq, and handed him a stack of documents.

He also stressed that Coulson had to put on gloves before touching the folder.

"Take these materials to the director's office for me."

"Uh, sir, there was a notice saying the surveillance cameras on the director's floor broke down this afternoon. The floor is sealed off now, and no one is allowed in or out except the director," Coulson said honestly.

"I know, but he's been urging me for these materials for a long time. He also said he wanted to see them first thing when he came to work tomorrow, so deliver them now." Fury did not even look up, scribbling away behind his desk.

"Yes, a Level Two agent. So you cannot know what this is." With a blank expression, Fury leaned back in his chair. "I'm asking you to make this trip because I trust you, so I can have more time to finish another report that has to be submitted to the United Nations tomorrow morning. Would you peek at the documents in your hands?"

"No, sir! I swear!"

Coulson became serious. His superior trusted him. That was good. At least the matter with the prosthetic eye had been wiped away.
