While Fury carried out his own plan, Su Ming was on vacation. After spending so many days amid ice and snow, he could rest for a few days before Howard calculated the stellar data they needed.
After leaving New London alone, he first went to Vanaheim to hold a meeting with Gullveig, then returned to Earth to hear Gin talk about Tony. The two also had a meal and went hunting together.

"Alien spacecraft crashed on Earth. I'm thinking that next time, we should stop killing bears. Maybe the Bear Protection Association is out to get me." Su Ming sighed, rose to his feet, and put on his armor. Both crash sites appeared to be in the United States.
She smiled and kissed him, then got up to dress as well. Just like last time, she packed away the bear meat and mattress, then stamped out the campfire.
"It wouldn't hurt to take a look. Maybe it's some valuable collectible spacecraft? I heard Sovereign ships are all made of gold?"
"It's just a gold-colored metal, not an alloy containing gold. It isn't worth much."
