Su Ming turned to look at a nearby screen. It had automatically captured several strange figures crossing the kaleidoscopic universe toward the space station where they were.

"It's an army of Parademons, but they don't look like the ones we've seen before."

Bobo immediately provided the intel, then ducked behind a flowerpot with practiced ease.

"Darkseid calls these monsters New Angels." Blackfire prepared for battle, shielding Harley behind her as Cosmic Energy gathered in her hands. The energy was black, carrying a cold and sinister aura.

Diana and the others also readied themselves. She still protected the unconscious Barry and the technician. "They're still Parademons. Biomonsters transformed by Omega Energy are all called Parademons."

While they spoke, the monsters had already crossed a vast distance. Their bizarre mouthparts could somehow make sounds in space, and once the monitors picked them up, the voices seemed to bore directly into everyone's minds.

"Darkseid Is!"

"Hold the line. I'll go deal with them." Su Ming turned and headed out of the lab, extending a thin tentacle from behind himself. "Orion, I need to read a little of your memory."

Orion, who had just returned to the lab with Dex-Starr, looked utterly baffled. Before he could say whether he agreed or not, the tiny tentacle plunged straight into his spine, following his spinal cord into his brain.

Well, the little tentacle had only eaten a tiny bit of brain matter. It probably would not affect Orion much. A good night's sleep would fix it.

Then everyone watched as Deathstroke transformed into Highfather of Genesis in the blink of an eye. Not only the graying hair and black beard, but even the smile was exactly the same.

Others might have been surprised, but Diana was simply speechless. She knew Deathstroke loved
