Diana seemed not to notice the little attempt to change the subject. Hearing Odin's name, she fell into thought.
"I once met the Odin of our world. That was years ago."
Through the Symbiotes' neural link, she chatted with Su Ming, completely forgetting that Mazikeen and the Lord of Order were fighting to the death thousands of meters away.
"I thought the Norse Pantheon of Earth-0 had been wiped out."
Seeing that he had successfully changed the subject, Su Ming went along with her.
Wonder Woman's expression was a little strange, carrying both disdain and puzzled recollection.
"That was in the Dreaming. Odin, his brother Loki, and his son Thor were all there. Abel told me that the three of them had been sitting around a drinking table for 1,200 years, trying to figure out how to avoid Ragnarök. I really don't know how stupid you have to be to spend 1,200 years without coming up with a solution. At least pick a decent one and try it."

He had seen them in comics before. They were basically Background Characters, only occasionally appearing as villains in Batwoman stories, because mortals who came into contact with Berserker blood or ancient Scandinavian weapons would turn into crazed killers who slaughtered everyone they saw.
That Odin had also been Zeus's accomplice back then, plotting to obtain Hecate's power. They had used sorcery to improve their bloodlines, but something had gone slightly wrong and affected their intelligence.
The Amazons also knew several Norse Warriors, but aside from their admirable courage, they could not even beat Damian in a real fight.
