And when she saw the teeth-gritting Diana and Deathstroke behind her, she fell into even deeper despair.

Diana let out an enraged roar and flew straight at the witch with sword and shield in hand, as though fury had gone to her head.
But like Batwoman and Joker, Circe was Diana's longtime arch-nemesis. Since World War I, the witch and Wonder Woman had fought countless times. Their relationship was not one of simple hatred; there was also a certain mutual respect between them.
Perhaps Wonder Woman did not like the witch as much as she liked the big cat, but Diana remembered what Su Ming had said before arriving here: Circe could not be killed.

Su Ming offered an even simpler suggestion. Digging Dex-Starr out of the Red Lantern Corps was practically impossible; that cat was extremely loyal to the Lantern Corps.
Then they could simply make another Lantern
