A fresh breeze drifted past, and both of them looked relaxed. Diana's eyes, however, held a trace of curiosity and concern.

Facing her question, Su Ming raised a hand and tucked her hair behind her ear. "No one can force something on me if I don't want it. And no one can take away what belongs to me."

Diana seemed very satisfied with that answer. She lowered her head and looked at her toes for a while. She wore sandal-like combat boots most of the time, and her toes curled up now.

She raised her head to look at Deathstroke's face, then reached out to touch his eyepatch. Biting her lip, she hesitated for a moment before finally making up her mind to ask.

"Then do you love me? Or did you consider that time an accident?"

Even the wind around them seemed to quiet, and everything fell silent. Diana could hear only her own heartbeat as she waited anxiously for his response.

"I love you." Su Ming gave her an affirmative answer. But just as joy rose to Diana's brow, he added, "My situation is complicated, though—my identity, and this universe's attitude toward me."
