"Wait, my head's a little messed up right now." Hal pressed a hand to his forehead. "You said hostages? What hostages?"
Diana warily glanced at the Anti-Monitor in the distance. He was currently lowering his head to study the contract, so she put away her weapon, walked over to Hal, and spoke softly.

Oliver nodded. No wonder Deathstroke wanted to negotiate with The Batman Who Laughs. The other side was holding hostages.
Without absolute confidence that they could rescue them through brute force, negotiations were the best option. Green Arrow signaled for Green Lantern not to get worked up, then asked another question.
"I only have one question. Do we have a cure for this so-called virus? If we can't restore the people we save to their original personalities, they won't be able to fight. On the contrary, we'll have to spare manpower to imprison them."
"Unfortunately, no." Diana sighed. Her long black hair gleamed as her large eyes looked toward the white ring. "According to our intelligence, Luthor may have an antidote, but there's no possibility of negotiating with him. J'onn went to negotiate with Luthor earlier and never returned. None of us are optimistic about his situation."
After meeting Luthor, J'onn had vanished without a trace. There had been no word from him for over two months.
If they hadn't been afraid Hawkgirl would completely break down, everyone in the Justice League might already have held a funeral for J'onn.
Oliver took a deep breath and stroked his goatee. "Even J'onn disappeared? No wonder I haven't heard any telepathic messages these past few months. I thought you'd all forgotten about me."
Harley covered her mouth
