John's Green Lantern Ring manifested a giant hand, intending to shove Jay away. But the Speed Force user merely blurred and appeared over a dozen meters away, completely evading Green Lantern's move.
"Speed Force and Green Magic... Who exactly are you people?" Jay, the first-generation Flash, did not attempt another attack, but he stared at the two of them with a grave expression.
Green Lantern helped Barry up and turned the giant hand into a protective shield. "That really is the Speed Force, but mine is a Green Lantern Ring. It's the power of will and courage, not magic."
"Don't try to fool me! You're some new kind of Amazo robot, copying our powers!" Jay gritted his teeth as though preparing to attack again.
"Wait, stop. I know what's going on now." Barry rubbed his shoulder with a grimace. Being taken down by a speedster still felt exactly like it used to. "We came from a Time Point in the Future. This is a newly created Time Stream. Doctor Ivo, representing the Legion of Doom, has taken over this place. But we're living, breathing people, not some new machines."
He stepped between John and Jay, holding both arms up and pressing them toward their chests from a distance as he explained rapidly, hoping everyone would calm down.
