As a top student who had taught herself a great deal in advance, Hermione could not recall Hufflepuff's signature spell for the moment. After all, according to Professor Wilson, this House seemed to excel most at studying food or tending all kinds of herbs and Magical Creatures.

After entering Hogwarts, she had confirmed it with her own eyes. For example, during physical education, whenever someone mentioned something edible, all the little badgers' eyes would light up.
