Strangle had found a relatively intact "big rock." Even while flying, with several hundred kilometers still between them, they could see the monolith jutting from the surface like a sword.
It should have been one of the fragments of some massive landmass. The ship's scanners had detected it while they were in space, and now that Strangle had confirmed there were surviving buildings there, it was worth checking out.
The closer they got, the more enormous it appeared. The spindle-shaped rock stood at a slant, over ten thousand meters tall, with yellowish-brown clouds wrapped around its middle.
Wanda lay prone atop the Cloak, which had transformed into a flying carpet, nervously clutching it tight.
She could fly herself, but the Sorcerer Supreme thought she was too slow, saying it did not even count as "floating," so he had tossed her onto the Cloak.
It was too fast. The Cloak of Levitation was simply too fast. Wanda had never traveled from the United States to Australia in less than three seconds without using teleportation, yet the Sorcerer Supreme's Cloak had just covered a similar distance.
Was this the cosmic standard of the new era?
Wanda felt that perhaps she should participate less in her father's activities lately and focus on improving her own abilities, perhaps finding a teacher to learn some new things from.
The Cloak carried the two of them to the place it had indicated. After circling a large, relatively smooth boulder, it deposited them beside the ruins where a section of land had snapped apart, leaving several buildings accidentally wedged in the crevice.
Though everything was in ruins, the buildings here were at least far more intact than those on the surface. Their outlines still gave some hint of what they had once looked like.
Overall, the Titans'
