In a room filled with high-tech equipment, Su Ming watched as the screen before him became covered in static. He stood up and stretched his neck.
He had used the Time Stone too many times, and his grievous injuries were still healing themselves. He felt as though even his soul was exhausted. If the Cosmic Consciousness did not cause any more trouble, he planned to go home and sleep.
"Where exactly is this place?"
Holding Orange Cat in her arms, Wanda looked around in disbelief.
Besides the Earth from earlier, the enormous instrument displayed six other different Earths.
"This? You can think of it as a temporal hub." Su Ming answered calmly, taking some snacks from his pouch and feeding them to Orange Cat. "The battlefield Wade took you to was actually just a Parallel World of our universe. You understand that, right?"
"A Parallel World created through different Timelines?"
Wanda thought for a moment and looked to Wade for confirmation. But Deadpool did not notice her at all. He was whispering to his newly regenerated left hand.
Su Ming sighed and took over. "That's right. If you cut out a segment of time from the Timeline, bend it, and connect its beginning and end, it forms a relatively stable loop. That creates a Parallel World with neither a future nor a past."
