The return trip went smoothly. The Space Marines were all top-tier laborers, and the Space Wolves were experts at raiding and looting.

Swift as the wind, they plundered an Eldar supply depot and withdrew at once. The other Eldar patrols had not even looped around to the route everyone had used to get there.

Inside the cabin, the Wolves sang songs from their homeland at the tops of their lungs, celebrating the spoils of the raid. Meanwhile, the Sister kept holding that slab as she sat beside Deathstroke.

He did not know exactly what it was, but she was clearly very interested in it.

The raiding craft was extremely fast, thanks to having most of its weapons and armor stripped away. Even with plenty of cargo piled into the compartment where they were riding, it took only a little over half an hour to return to the Relay Station base.

"Brother, you pick the spoils first. You did the most work today!" Gunnar said to Deathstroke as he jumped down from the craft and spotted Orpheus approaching.

His bear-like build clashed strangely with the shrewd look on his face. He seemed worried that the angel's side would pick all the good stuff first and leave his brother at a disadvantage—a particularly down-to-earth sort of wisdom.

Su Ming swept his gaze over the snow-white flatbreads that looked like stone cakes, then at the dark dried leaves. He truly had no idea what to choose.

He took two flatbreads just for form's sake. Later, he could wrap Spicy Strips in them and eat them with the Sister.

"We'll take these. You can split the rest among yourselves." As he spoke, he jumped down from the cabin and headed toward the Relay Station.

"Take some more. There's plenty." The Wolf Lord picked up
