Daisy and Peter followed along the edge of the garbage heap, keeping as far away from the woman as possible.

The woman in the black cloak still stood motionless where she was, yet they could all feel an icy chill creeping upward from their ankles.

Thor kept glancing back at that figure. Only after they entered the city did the sensation of having her heart gripped gradually fade. She immediately asked Deathstroke the question.

"No one. Just an old acquaintance."

Su Ming did not even turn around. There was no need to explain his plans and arrangements for the future to mere tools.

"Was she an ex-lover or something? I couldn't see her face, but I could feel her staring at me." Thor shuddered and rubbed her arms. "It was like I'd stolen something from her house. Could that cold feeling be the legendary hatred of an ex-girlfriend?"

Deathstroke looked around. There were plenty of natives on the street, and everyone here favored brown cloaks, making them all look like Monks. "That was the aura of death. It had nothing to do with love or hate, and I don't have much to do with her either. I think she was probably jealous of your great figure."

Daisy looked a little smug as she puffed out her chest and rolled her shoulders.

The city's buildings were highly distinctive. At first glance, they looked like cylinders of varying sizes, some tall, some short, some large, some small.

The cylinders were covered in densely packed little holes that served as windows. Red cloth awnings hung outside them to provide shade against the blazing sun of this star system.
