Sometimes, the Elders Of The Universe were truly impossible to fathom. Logically speaking, sending people to greet them, rolling out a red carpet, and scattering flower petals should have counted as a welcome, right?

But when the elevator arrived and the new attendant led the three through a long corridor into the hall,

Grandmaster showed no intention of welcoming them at all. He sat as steady as Mount Tai upon his throne, pinching his chin as he pondered something.

He looked elderly. After all, his blue skin was wrinkled, and his white hair stood stiffly on end, making him resemble the United States soldier from Street Fighter.

Yet his heart was still young despite his age. Not only did he wear flamboyant eyeshadow and eyeliner, he had purple lipstick on as well. He wore an outrageously flashy white robe, and both hands were covered in enormous gemstone rings.

If one did not know his true nature, anyone meeting this guy for the first time would surely be misled by his appearance. He did not possess the slightest aura of a cosmic powerhouse; he looked like nothing more than a nouveau riche gay old man.

As he rested his chin and pondered, he held out his free hand for the attendant beside the throne to do his manicure. With the extraordinary vision provided by Strangle, Deathstroke could see that the design on his nail was a pink heart.

The three entered the hall, and Grandmaster merely glanced at them before becoming tangled up in his choice again. He muttered to himself:
