Watching the spacecraft's exhaust trail rapidly shrink into a bright dot and vanish into the sky, Daisy unconsciously rubbed her fingers together, as though sighing that there would be no one to tug by the ears in the future.

"Wasn't that ship borrowed from the Inhumans?" She suddenly remembered something. After sizing up the old farmer beside them, who was still holding a pineapple, she turned her little face back to Deathstroke. "Is it really okay to just give it to Peter?"

Su Ming pulled out a cigarette and lit it, then accepted a newly genetically modified pineapple from Dr. Erskine. It was even bigger than a winter melon, yet like a coconut, it was full of juice inside.

According to the doctor, it was the result of targeted genetic encoding. Su Ming did not really understand that stuff. He only knew that if he poked a hole in its skin, ready-made fruit juice would pour right out.

Dr. Erskine left after delivering the pineapple. He was very satisfied with his life; compared to creating genetic weapons, he preferred his current days.

Su Ming took Daisy beneath a nearby tree to cool off, conjured two cups, and poured out the pineapple juice as though he was in no hurry at all. "I borrowed that spacecraft fair and square. Why should I return it?"

The girl made a confused face, accepted the pineapple juice, and brushed the sand off her leg. "Don't Superheroes have to return things they borrow?"

"Whoever has the ship now is who Black Bolt should ask for it from. To keep Star-Lord from getting complacent after obtaining the ship, wouldn't it be better to arrange some people to chase him around?" Su Ming smiled. Peter was still too innocent—or perhaps he had been moved too soon.
