After Monark left, Su Ming prepared to activate the Flying Boat's jump. This little thing, like a park rowboat, was capable of jumping—and was even more advanced than Kree technology.

Its jumps covered greater distances and were more stable. In a single jump, it could travel from Asgard to the Collector's headquarters, Knowhere, without producing the funhouse-mirror-like spatial distortions during transit.

Unfortunately, Asgard's technology existed entirely by relying on Yggdrasil's energy, making it completely worthless as a reference for Earth. Su Ming's own spacecraft had been built in Vanaheim, but it used alien technology parsed by the Adjutant.

Otherwise, if ships were built according to Vanaheim's technology, the resulting space battleships would probably really resemble longships.

"What do we do now?"

Daisy was curious about Kamar-Taj's Teleportation and even tried poking at the sparks falling through the air. She seemed to burn herself, quickly pulled back her finger, and put it in her mouth.

Su Ming activated the ship. The universe beyond the hull instantly turned into rainbow-colored radiance, making it feel as though the boat had not moved at all and the scenery of the universe was moving instead.

There was no vibration and no sense of speed, yet the passengers somehow knew they were advancing. It was a strange sensation.

"Follow another lead. We can't say Odin has gone missing in Asgard, but there must be many people in the universe who know about this, perhaps even witnesses." He released the helm, took a swig of liquor, then had Strangle destroy the evidence—the bottle. "We're going to the largest black market in the universe to find its ruler."

Thor tilted her head. She could not see how that counted as a lead. "Hm?"

"At present, we don't know enough about intelligence in the universe, so we'll buy some.
