The shop owner was a very tall Alien. He looked somewhat like a cross between a giraffe and Coral, with orange skin, a long neck, and two eyeballs growing from the top of his head on tentacles. Su Ming worried they might get caught in an electric fan.

Correspondingly, the counter in this shop was extremely high. Its surface stood over three meters off the ground, forcing Su Ming to fly up just to speak with him.

The giraffe-like shop owner was leaning beneath a small lamp, watching something on a tablet terminal—perhaps the news—until Deathstroke tapped his knuckles against the countertop and got his attention.

"Welcome, customer. Are you buying or selling?"

"That sounds a little strange. You're the one selling."

Speechless, Su Ming looked around, trying to see the valuable goods hanging on the wall behind the owner.

Security on Knowhere was mediocre. Ordinary shops inevitably encountered thieves or robbers, so whenever they had anything valuable, shop owners would generally pick it out and hang it behind their counters. It served as both an anti-theft measure and a display of their signature merchandise.

"My shop does sell goods. Would you like to buy something, customer?" The giraffe-like creature smiled, his huge mouth splitting all the way to his jaw.

"Let's see what good stuff you have first. How much is that Plasma Cannon?" Deathstroke pointed at the most conspicuous piece of equipment behind him, illuminated by the lights. It was a Kree weapon, essentially the Energy Weapon version of a rocket pod, and it looked like it had been removed from a fighter craft.

Whether some space scavenger had found the wreckage or someone had actually shot down a Kree fighter and salvaged it was irrelevant. It was already here.
