"Why scare him? Poor thing." Daisy quickly wrapped her arms around Cosmo's neck and stroked the fur on his back to soothe him. "He can communicate with me through Psionic Power. What a wonderful dog. So many people want a pet that understands them and can't get one, yet you don't appreciate him."

"Maybe he used to be a pet dog, but now he's a superweapon. His Psionic Power is only a little weaker than that little bald Charles. What if he goes back to Earth, misbehaves, and mind-controls everyone around your home?"

Cosmo's journey through space back then had caused him to mutate. Rather than calling him a mutant dog, he was more like the Fantastic Four.

Some inexplicable cosmic radiation had struck the experimental spacecraft, turning him from an ordinary puppy into an incredibly powerful Psionic. That was the true story of a penniless nobody turning his life around through mutation.

After mutating, he could understand the writing of intelligent lifeforms and communicate directly with most of them. His only flaw was that his vocal organs had not changed, so he could not speak human language. At most, he could make "woo-woo" or "woof-woof" sounds according to the pitch.

There was another Orange Cat in Marvel, nicknamed Hairball, who could speak human language. It possessed abilities similar to those of Mutants and could spit colorful bubbles to attack enemies. It was also extremely intelligent and would join the Pet Avengers in the future, becoming a feline hero.

Daisy rubbed the dog's head, her little hand scratching beneath his chin. "He's so well-behaved. How could he possibly do something like that? Wait, are you saying you're giving him to me?"

She seemed to have suddenly understood and looked utterly delighted. She had once really wanted a pet too, but
