Hyperion was severely wounded and unconscious. His limbs were twisted into unnatural corkscrew shapes, and the blood flowing from his seven orifices had frozen onto his face.

He had paid tribute to many of Superman's traits, but not "hope." His willpower was nowhere near Kal-El's. Superman always went into battle with hope and never gave up easily.

A planet-busting attack should never have been able to knock out a Superman-level being. If he had gritted his teeth and held on, he should not have passed out. But he had probably still been thinking about Martha, which had thrown his mind into disarray.

Su Ming tugged at the softened Godslayer in his hand, flipped Hyperion's tattered yellow cape over to cover his face, then wrapped him up tightly like a mummy.

"Strangle."

"Eek."

It knew what its host meant and immediately took on the form of a Pitcher Plant, swallowing Hyperion in one bite and wrapping him into a black humanoid cocoon.

Hyperion could absorb energy from sunlight, so as long as the light was blocked, his regeneration and awakening would slow dramatically. If he went without light for too long, he would even become incredibly weak and lose his superpowers.

"Let's go. We're going back to find Daisy and the others. Get into his head and see if there's any useful intelligence. Don't kill him."

Strangle indicated that this would not be a problem. Since its host wanted him alive, dying would be difficult even if the man wanted to.

A lump of black mud attached to a rope was held in Deathstroke's hand as he dragged it through space toward New York on Earth.

As for whether Mars losing a chunk, Jupiter being punctured, and Pluto exploding would have any gravitational impact on Earth, that was completely outside
