Daisy wiped at her nosebleed and sucked in a breath through gritted teeth, looking as though it hurt badly. Her answer to Deathstroke's question was actually quite simple.

After Hyperion had rammed the most dangerous-looking male intruder into space, the other members of the Squadron Supreme had attacked the two women left on the rooftop, giving Daisy a firsthand taste of what it felt like to be treated as a villain and besieged by righteous heroes.

Power Princess, Nighthawk, and Doctor Spectrum had faced her, while Speed Demon, Golden Archer, Amphibian, and Canary had taken on Jean Grey.

As Deathstroke examined the captives, he had Strangle drag them all over and lay them together like corpses, studying their differences with great interest.

Their names alone made it fairly clear whom each of them paid homage to, and even their uniforms and appearances bore subtle similarities.

Why subtle?

Because Deathstroke had originally thought Power Princess would resemble Diana, only to find that the unconscious woman on the ground looked more like Donna around the eyes. She lacked Little Dai's heroic bearing and instead possessed a softer femininity. Her Kree Empire armor was styled similarly to Diana's outfit, but it was black.

The Hawkman next door was a bare-chested, muscular brute, while this Nighthawk was wrapped up tight, a skinny reed with a pair of wings growing from his back.

As for Golden Archer... well, he was an archer dressed entirely in yellow. Otherwise, he looked a great deal like Green Arrow, right down to the dashing mustache.

Doctor Spectrum possessed a ring. The treasure entrusted to him by a dying man could unleash divine light in the three primary colors. This was not the power of emotions, but optics in the physical sense.
