"Negative Zone?" Unlike the utterly confused Wade, Tony started stroking his little mustache again. "Sounds like a place made entirely of Negative Matter? And what exactly is a dimension?"
A snort came from behind Deathstroke's mask. "Didn't you say I was an old relic? That I didn't understand technology? Why are you asking me for information now?"
"I take back what I said. You're not old at all, okay?" Tony spread his hands, the surface of his armor making a dull scraping sound. "But nobody on Earth understands technology better than I do. That opinion hasn't changed."
As he spoke, he proudly raised his chin and made two OK signs with his hands, as though invisible strings stretched between them and he were pulling them apart.
"Whether you think I'm young or understand technology is irrelevant." Deathstroke shook his head and pointed upward with one finger. "But surely you don't think you can get information a mercenary possesses without paying a price? Kid, I'm not interested in money. Give me something that can move me, and if I'm in a good mood, I might even go over there with my cousin and take a look."
Deathstroke patted Wade's dog-like head beside him. Wade looked so moved that tears welled up in his eyes, wet streaks like broad noodles hanging beneath the white eye patches of his red-and-black mask.
