Su Ming, drinking and snacking on the rooftop, saw a bridge flying over from not far away. Magneto stood at its head with both hands raised, endlessly splitting all kinds of metal fragments from the bridge itself. He slaughtered as he flew toward Manhattan.
The Brood had not left them alone. On the contrary, once the Brotherhood of Mutants appeared, they drew a great deal of firepower. Countless Bio-ships resembling enormous sacworms dove from the skies, unleashing their full firepower on the people aboard the bridge.
But the bugs had met their nemesis. Wanda stood behind Magneto, and intense red light surged from her hands like a fountain, directly altering the portion of reality where "the bugs were blocking their path."
With one sweep of red light, all the individual bugs and warships blocking the Brotherhood vanished, as though they had never existed.
Using Chaos Magic like this clearly placed a heavy burden on Wanda's mind. A mortal body could not endure Chthon's power flowing through it excessively. Blood immediately began to run from her nose, though she could still stand firm.
Magneto steered the bridge over, floating level with the rooftop. The fierce wind sent his purple cloak billowing high, and he still wore that helmet that looked as though it had a peach stuck on its forehead.
"Deathstroke, long time no see. New York is a little chaotic right now, but these ignorant people are not worth saving." Erik smiled and nodded, keeping his hands spread open. "I came here to save Mutants and settle some scores while I was at it. This is a good opportunity."
"I see. Looks like you're not here to fight aliens—you're here to raid Strucker Industries' nest." Su Ming nodded. While speaking to Magneto, he smiled
