As the butler-like member of Justice League Dark, Man-Bat cleared out a small storage room, placed a bed inside, and settled Zatanna onto it.
The room was tiny, with no windows and not even a lamp. It was lit only by candles.
Abby had already dispelled the corrosion within Zatanna's body, and the Final Machine had repaired most of her organ damage, but she still had not awakened.
By the time Su Ming and Green Arrow arrived, Diana, Zha Kang, and the others were crammed into the little room, discussing the next treatment plan. Abby believed that Little Zatanna had fallen into an unknown Nightmare and was refusing to wake up herself.
Diana could not offer much help. She was only there to berate Zha Kang for breaking Little Zatanna's heart, while Constantine remained perfectly composed, letting her words go in one ear and out the other as he arranged an enormous Magic Circle around the small bed.
"Man-Bat, how is she?"
Su Ming arrived at the doorway and greeted Man-Bat, the first to notice him. Bat senses really were quite sharp.
"As you can see, Deathstroke, she can't wake up, but the activity in her cerebral cortex is astonishingly high." Man-Bat held a tablet in one hand and a Magic Book in the other, giving him the air of someone cultivating two disciplines at once. Yet his face was full of worry, and he was clearly at a complete loss.
"Keep at it. I can't help with this. Diana, come out for a moment. I need to talk to you." Su Ming patted Green Arrow on the back, signaling that things would stay this way for now. Then he turned and left, floating over to wait for Wonder Woman by the storage room door.
