Su Ming put away the green-and-purple phone. Watching Superboy-Prime knock the Upside-Down Man around, he did not relax in the slightest.

He merely observed from afar, as though feeling the wind within the dimension, or sensing the silence beneath this silver-gray shroud.

"Upside-Down Man, are you sure you want to do this?" After a moment, Deathstroke stepped into the middle of the group. His black-and-yellow combat boots passed in front of the gorilla as he called out, "I know you—your abilities and your methods—and I've already seen through your plan. Let's skip this farce and get straight to the fight."

"What plan?"

Donna held up her sword and shield to protect Raven. Hearing Deathstroke's words, she immediately frowned.

"A plan to fake its death." Harley turned to Donna and pointed toward the direction opposite the Upside-Down Man. Her rainbow nail polish glittered. "The Upside-Down Man wants to create a physical body for Superman and Deathstroke to destroy. That way, everyone might think it's dead, giving it the chance to seize the Rock of Eternity and completely make up for its final weakness."

"How did you know?"

Raven looked at Harley in surprise. As a sorceress, she had only vaguely sensed that something was wrong, yet Deathstroke and Harley, neither of whom were spellcasters, had spotted the flaw first.

Harley was right. The Upside-Down Man was the incarnation of magic, a tangible manifestation of an intangible concept. No matter how powerful Superboy-Prime was, even if his fists could shatter the void, physical attacks should have been terribly ineffective against this White-Scaled Monster.
