In Gotham, Barry and Diana's group was looking for a lawyer, but it was clearly not going well. Finding these people at night had proven impossible even with the Justice League's resources.
Green Arrow even suspected Batwoman had done something behind the scenes. Whenever the Justice League peered into this city that belonged to her, too much was hidden from them.
"No good, Green Arrow. This one isn't open either."
Barry held his phone as he spoke with Oliver, who was providing intelligence support from the Hall of Justice. He looked thoroughly helpless.
Green Arrow sounded even more helpless. Through the phone, Barry could practically see him tugging at his beard. "Then go to the next place. Gotham's lawyers have too many enemies. Almost none of them have fixed addresses. I can only help you try your luck—I can't guarantee you'll achieve your goal."
Diana had heard the voice from the phone as well. She tugged at her cloak. "How about we look for a lawyer tomorrow? Maybe the police can recommend one to us. It'll be easier during the day."
"But Wally is still in prison. I'm very worried about him. Besides, Roy still has to complete the Entity of Life's mission. We're pressed for time." Barry sighed, looking deeply troubled. "I've always doubted the integrity of Blackgate Penitentiary. The guards there might not protect Wally."
Roy stood off to the side smoking, watching neon-lit Gotham from the entrance of the building. He cut in, "Can't we find an out-of-town lawyer? And do I really need to be there too?"
Wonder Woman rejected the idea. She turned to look at the city as well. The small building stood on a hill, with an excellent view.
