While Earth-0 was in chaos, in the Dark Multiverse.
The sound of something heavy hitting the floor seemed to still echo through the gloomy castle. Batwoman had already silently appeared behind the enemy, staring at the unconscious figure as she lightly slipped a small gadget back into her belt.
Not long ago, Deathstroke had given him a hint: a piece of candy, along with the cryptic code word "Candy."
Why had Batwoman understood its meaning the moment he received it? Because it was an extremely simple acronym cipher. Expand each letter of the word, then connect it to Deathstroke's past arrangements, and the correct answer emerged.
Cross and nail dark yashmak, "pierce and nail down the dark veil."
It was a clue pointing toward the Dark Multiverse. At first, no one had known the Dark Multiverse existed. It was only after the Metal Event that people realized light and darkness were separated by only a thin veil, and Barry and the Speed Force had been the key on their side to first lifting it.
Batwoman believed his interpretation was correct.
Following that line of thought, Deathstroke's plan was to have him raid The Batman Who Laughs's lair while the enemy attacked Earth-0. It was a house-swapping tactic.
Earth-0's fighting strength was not weak, and Bruce still had some confidence in his teammates. If The Batman Who Laughs wanted to occupy it and reshape it into a fallen world rather than destroy it, he would need many hands to launch a large-scale campaign. All kinds of powerful Superhumans would be sent to the battlefield.
At the rear, there would be no more than a few Mad Batmen left behind.
Bruce had dealt with plenty of insane people. Even if this one was himself from another world, he was still confident.
So,
