Screams, curses, roars.
All manner of noise poured into Thor's head.
But he did not even have time to turn around and find where the sounds were coming from. Faced with enemies surging in like a tide, all he could do was keep swinging his axe and hold the Golden Palace's walls alongside his brother.

"Like several million lousy Iron Men." Loki stood behind him as he spoke. He held Gungnir in one hand, yet fought the enemy with only a small knife in the other.
"I recognize the symbol on them. This is a Nazi army." Thor rammed his shoulder into an armored soldier who had leaped onto the wall and answered his brother.

The armor was entirely dark green. Their arms bore black symbols inside white circles on red backgrounds. The symbols looked like windmills, and the designs were all sharp angles, like assembly-line products that had never considered air resistance.
There were also those enormous bipedal robots, fitted with every kind of gigantic Energy Weapon. When they bombarded the walls, they did not even distinguish friend from foe, reducing Asgard's warriors and their own soldiers alike to dust.
