Who else could it be but Golden Eagle?
The golden wings on his back were unmistakably crafted from Thanagarian Nth Metal. There was virtually no chance of mistaking them, and only that metal could be used to make wings. God Metal of the same color was simply too heavy.
"I object! My mother can't marry a gorilla! She belongs to me! I'm the only one worthy of her!"
Golden Eagle spread his wings and landed. Without saying anything else, he strode toward the newlyweds with bloodshot eyes and reached for his reincarnated mother. He wanted to take her away, possess her, and make her happy.
His large hand seized Kendra's wrist. Rather than struggling as she had in the past, she looked at him and licked her lips.
Charlie's heart leaped with joy. So Mother had come around after all. She was willing to sleep with him!
Overwhelming delight swept through him. Nothing else existed in his eyes anymore—not the payment for the job, not the Zombie Crisis. None of it compared to Mother's lustful smile.
He did not even look at the bridesmaid or the best man. Ordinary people did not need to exist in his eyes. This world only needed him and Mother!
So, with one hand gripping the woman he loved most, he used the other to pry at the gorilla's arm, wanting the filthy animal to let go at once.
At that moment, both his hands were occupied. The opportunity had arrived.
The long table beside them, where the cake sat, had originally been draped in a white tablecloth. Now the cloth shifted, and a figure emerged from beneath it. Golden light flashed, followed by a crisp clang. One of Golden Eagle's wings, secured to his back by X-shaped leather straps, fell onto the red carpet.
