Tony sat down, took a sip of coffee, nodded in satisfaction, and smiled at Wade.
For some reason, looking at the stern man before him, The Mustache felt nothing but darkness.
"Mm, my Cousin's friend, Batwoman. We're not that close, because he's never touched my ass." Deadpool lifted half his mask and took a sip of coffee as well. He could not tell good coffee from bad, so he simply gulped it down, smacked his lips, and spouted some filth. "But just treat him like a lunatic. If my insanity level is a one, he's probably a ten. He's even got an old flame, some pretty boy whose madness is like drugged-up maggots in the brains of Mexican congressmen."
Deadpool had no reservations when he spoke. Batwoman was a lunatic—everyone on Earth knew that.
The man being discussed showed no emotional reaction. He remained cold and expressionless as he calmly looked at Tony and Carol.
"I know who you are. You work for Deathstroke. This should be our first formal meeting, but now, I will be joining your operation."
Batwoman spoke bluntly, as though he had no intention of asking anyone's opinion. He was simply informing them.
"Hold on, friend." Tony smiled and shook his head. He placed a hand on the table and crossed one leg over the other. "We don't know you, and we don't work for Deathstroke, right, Captain?"
"Uh... well, I guess we could." Carol answered vaguely.
Tony took a deep breath, shot an exasperated look at the woman playing with her coffee cup with her head lowered, and cleared his throat.
