Terrorist Attack

The Black zombie's uniform wings were somewhat tattered, and he staggered through the air as if he might crash at any moment. But at least he was flying.

He circled overhead like an eagle preparing to hunt, and that was precisely why the night provided him with camouflage.

Perhaps he had sensed the invisible Quinjet approaching and lowered his altitude? Or perhaps he had taken off from beneath some hidden roof?

"Is that Falcon? He looks... infected?"

Iron Man narrowed his eyes at the sky. New York was covered in dark clouds tonight, and the faint moonlight leaking through the gaps was little help, but those wings were too recognizable.

Red folding steel wings, completely different from the 'Vulture' who had recently been stealing things from Stark Industries.

His heart ached. Falcon was a good friend too, funny to talk to, a former Air Force man with a simple, honest nature and impeccable morals.

"Should we shoot him down?" Natasha had far fewer reservations. She knew this was a Zombie Hero from a Parallel World, but she deliberately said nothing. Instead, she found the complicated, conflicted look on Tony's face rather amusing.

"...Why did this happen? Which bastard developed the Zombie Virus? Don't let me catch them!" Tony clenched his fists, and his crude exoskeleton armor followed suit, producing squeaking metallic grinding sounds.

Cassandra immediately shook her head. "Anyway, it wasn't me. My Shadow Industries only makes controllable Biochemical Weapons, like Anthrax and Sarin Gas. We don't have the technological level for something like a Zombie Virus yet."

"I thought so, but those weapons aren't good either. They violate international conventions." Iron Man bared his teeth in frustration. He did not want to discuss international law with Cassandra right now; his mind was fixed on the figure in the sky.
