Daisy didn't know why Deathstroke wanted to listen to thunder, but she did as told without hesitation. Entering the cluttered warehouse, she raised Mjolnir, and lightning immediately burst from the hammer's head and struck the ground.

The thunderous boom was even more startling indoors. Nearly everyone except Hela rubbed their ears in discomfort. Deathstroke, however, tilted his head and listened for a few seconds before pointing down a path.

"This way. There's a secret elevator leading underground."

"Wow, how did you know that?" Gwenpool had come back, and this time she was clinging to Jessica like they had known each other forever.

Deathstroke did not answer. He simply took the lead. Professor Xu, however, understood. She floated over and hung from Gwenpool's arm like a balloon.

"This is probably an alternative form of using thunder to locate underground cavities. The principle is similar to geological prospecting. Sound waves travel at different speeds through different materials, allowing one to determine where there are underground hollows or different substances."

"So it's basically the same principle as sonar, except one is on land and the other is in the sea." Daisy was a doctor, after all, so she understood as well.

Only Hela shook her head speechlessly. Her abilities allowed her to sense the large number of undead creatures underground, including their exact locations and depths. They could have simply blasted through the floor and gone down. Why make things so troublesome?

But then she realized that Deathstroke was probably helping her hide some of her abilities. He was even concealing his own strength.

Apparently, he had never considered S.H.I.E.L.D. one of his own. In that case, she had no intention of saying anything more either.

In truth, Su Ming was merely stalling on purpose. He wanted Fury to enjoy a little more
