A second-stage mutated small fry was no trouble for Strangle. With one bite, it tore off the man's head, splattering blood across the surrounding walls.
"Are you okay, Peter?" Su Ming supported Peter beside him and asked with apparent concern, "He attacked you first. I could only fight back."
"Sigh, I was actually fine. Look." Peter watched Strangle turn the headless corpse upside down and stuff it between its sharp teeth like filling a sausage. Speechless, he sighed. "His dagger didn't even go as deep as my belly button. Steel weapons can't break my skin. You shouldn't have killed him."
The fat man lifted his uniform to show his belly. Apart from a few pale marks, there wasn't even a drop of blood.
Deathstroke in the alley patted that huge belly, then naturally spread his hands, looking utterly innocent. "Don't blame me for being too ruthless, Peter. That's just how much I hate evil. We fought the Inheritors together, so you know that."
While saying this, he silently communicated with Strangle, asking whether the food here could grant it new abilities.

Strangle had already returned to its Bean Sprout form. It even helped wipe down Peter's blood-splattered car, its crescent eyes curved sweetly as if to say it was innocent too.
